November 2nd-18th: Silent Auction

The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, the Office of the Registrar, and the Office of Admissions are holding their 6th Annual Online Silent Auction in honor or UA Cares. All proceeds will benefit the Arizona Assurance Scholarship Program, the UA Employee Emergency Fund, and Casa de Los Ninos. 


November 16th: UA Cares Live Auction 

A Live Auction will be held by Sponsored Projects Services in the University Services Building Courtyard on November 16th at 11:30 AM. registration will begin at 11 AM and it is $2 to participate (the first 50 to register get a FREE slice of pizza)! 

Pre-registration and item viewing will be available November 9th at 12 PM in the USB lobby. Some of the items available for auction include gift baskets from Canyon Ranch, Diamondback Dugout Reserve Tickets for 4, a 2 night stay with spa treatments at the JW Marriot Star Pass and much more!

Half of the proceeds will to the Ronald McDonald House, adnd the other half will go to the highest bidder's charity of choice. 


November 25th: Casa Maria Soup Kitchen Black Friday Event

Campus Health is organizing a volunteer event on Black Friday from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Casa Maria Soup Kitchen. Volunteers will be helping make sandwiches, bag luches and helping in other ways in the kitchen. Various donation items are also needed including canned goods, fresh fruits/vegetables, other foods that could go in a bag lunch, mens/womens/childrens clothing, and hygiene products. November 30th: Brown Bag Lunches

Another opportunity to support the Casa Maria Soup Kitchen! On Wednesday November 30th, come join Campus Health in the Employee Lounge from 8am-9am to make brown bag lunches that will be delivered to the soup kitchen. If you cannot attend the event you can still help out by donating much needed supplies such as bread, peanut butter, jelly, sandwich meats, cheese, sandwich condiments, chips and fruits/veggies. Donation collection will begin Monday, November 28th, in the Business Office. 


Arts Express is a local organization that promotes arts education. 86% of the students attending their education programs need financial assistance to participate. This wonderful organization is one of the charitable recipients of funds raised at this year’s El Tour de Tucson.
